2 calls by the University of Bayreuth: strategic scientific workshop and short-term grants – apply now!
The University of Bayreuth Centre of International Excellence “Alexander von Humboldt” has just released two calls to strengthen and deepen the cooperation with its strategic partners (Bordeaux and North Africa being two of them): “Strategic Scientific Workshop” and “Short-Term Grants Programme”. You can apply respectively until May 11 and April 28.
Strategic Scientific Workshop
It aims at strengthening existing or developing new strategic ties between the University of Bayreuth and its strategic partners. Among them are the regional hubs of Bordeaux and North Africa.
Workshops of a minimum of 2 days can be funded up to 20.000€. Open to all scientific fields[1], the workshop must entail scientific and strategic objectives, like for instance the development of sustainable collaborations, and be aligned with UBT’s internationalization strategy and research priorities.

Short-Term Grants Programme
It aims at connecting established and younger researchers of Bayreuth and its partners by hosting them in Bayreuth for a short stay (1 – 3 weeks).
The grant covers the mobility and accommodation costs in Bayreuth, up to 3.500€. All fields are eligible[2]. Only doctorate holders can apply.
