Centre of International Excellence “Alexander von Humboldt”: a first strategic scientific workshop between the University of Bayreuth and the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne in November 2021
The committee of Bayreuth Humboldt Centre has just released the list of projects selected for funding. The workshop, designed by Prof. Schiewer (UBT), Profs. Damome and Kiyindou (UBM-MICA) on participative communication, information technologies and social innovation in Africa, has been awarded a grant for its implementation.
This scientific event will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the challenges raised by the workshop topic among researchers from Bayreuth, Bordeaux-Montaigne and Lomé. A part of the event will be dedicated to the scientific training of PhD candidates who will be invited to present their work.
Beyond the scientific dimension, the purpose of the workshop is to strengthen the cooperation between the three institutions, especially Bayreuth and Bordeaux-Montaigne. New projects in research and education should emerge from this interpersonal and scientific networking.
The workshop will take place in autumn (November 2021) and a return phase is already planned in Bordeaux next year.
